Professional Timeline

1986 - 1995

Began a private law practice with Quane, Smith, Howard and Hull. Here, Bob practiced in all areas of insurance defense. He later joined Clemons Cosho & Humphrey, renamed Cosho, Humphrey, Greener & Welsh, where he became a partner. At this firm, Bob continued his practice in the area of insurance defense. Bob also developed a plaintiffs’ practice in the area of personal injury and workers’ compensation.

1996 - 2010

Worked as a partner in the firm of Ellsworth, Kallas, Talboy & DeFranco, PLLC, and continued to practice in the areas of insurance, personal injury, workers’ compensation and collection.

2011 - 2016

Served as a founding member in the firm of Talboy Simmons, PA, later changed to Kelly, Talboy & Simmons, PA.

2017 - Present

Formed the law firm, Talboy Law Office.  

  

Bob currently serves on the Boise City Design Review Committee and the Financial Aid Committee at Bishop Kelly High School. He previously served on the Bishop Kelly High School Board of Governance and as Chairman. He also served on the St. John’s Cathedral Parish Counsel as a Member and Chairperson, and he was an Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at Boise State University for many years. Bob is married and has three adult children.
